We had our first pupil-led school Assembly of the year today and 6th Class organised and led the Assembly.
Our theme was new beginnings. All the children took part.
We are reminded that a new school year gives everyone the opportunity to start afresh. This could mean taking up a new hobby, helping a friend in need, speaking kind words, being more patient/respectful/empathetic, reading more - the list is endless!
We finished with a prayer for the start of a new year and a new song - Bless my schoolbag!
