On Wednesday 23rd October, we engaged with a virtual tour of Leinster House. We learned lots of new information about the history of the house, on how the government is set up, the Dáil and the Seanad, all about TDs, currently 160 which will increase to 174, and how laws are made. We got to see lots of rooms and portraits, including the portrait of President Michael D. Higgins, which hangs opposite the staircase that leads to the Dáil Chamber.
